Death, Division, and Decision

This blog first began to be drafted, Sunday, but I felt there should be an "appropriate" time before the death of Justice Ginsburg became a political timebomb.  I didn't agree with her decisions, but the woman definitely made history, and from all indications, will continue to do so.  Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a very intelligent woman who had a presence incredibly greater than her physical stature.  As for her reported wish regarding her replacement; shared with her granddaughter, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's position and power ended at her death.

It has already been stated that the election will not be conclusive if either candidate does not win.  Biden has been told not to concede . . . Which brings to mind Al Gore in 2000  All the seats in the House are up for reelection as well as 35 Senate seats.  As it stands right now, there are eight Supreme Court Justices.  The potential for a tie vote is probably unlikely, but possible.  It is 2020!

All three branches of the government must not be in turmoil or weakened, simultaneously!  America really cannot afford federal mayhem, at this time.  Far too much division and destruction have already taken place and continue to occur.

Therefore, President Trump needs to get a nominee to the Senate as rapidly as possible.  I've already heard Biden make a remark about this, but this is different.  When Antonin Scalia died, the other two branches of government were not in jeopardy, and the Senate did not have a Democrat majority.  Therefore President Obama's nominee would not have been confirmed.   Although 2016 was an election like we've not seen before, 2020 looks to be unrecognizable.

Who knew, with Donald Trump's ambition and drive, CV-19, riots, looting, protests, lockdowns, economic uncertainty, it would be the death of a very elderly, frail woman that forced his hand to make a decision that will certainly be reported as dictatorial?  Dictator by default!  He has to make a nominee and the Senate really does need to fast track a confirmation.  The Supreme Court of the United States must have a tiebreaker.

Bidenflation

Giving credit to Dana Perino for the term "Bidenflation," Biden is set to accomplish yet another bad idea!  The success rate of ...
