A Letter To the Governor of New York

Dear Mr. Cuomo,

In viewing a portion of your daily press conference, I couldn't help but notice you do a great deal of complaining and that point-blank disrespect for our Creator was not a good idea.
If the information that the media is giving is correct, New York did receive more ventilators than were needed.  The Navy had a ship docked, a MASH type hospital was set up and Samaritan's Purse also set up a mobile hospital . . . and they were all underused, which is good!  So, why the daily reports that New York City is not getting the help it needs?  What is your problem?  An idea occurred to me, so I'll share it.

Rudy Guiliani became America's mayor after 9/11.  Unlike 9/11, however; this plandemic is not geographically exclusive to New York City.  New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Chicago have large numbers of people with the virus.  New Jersey and Florida are also struggling.  So, as the entire nation is pretty much on lockdown, campaign rallies are obviously canceled, you seem to have an objective.  I don't even own a television or have any viewing channels beyond youtube, but I know who you are.  These daily reports of yours are getting your name and face in front of all of America!

I'm not sure what Mayor DeBlasio is vying for, but he needs to reevaluate his gangster attitude.
"We have learned the hard way that we cannot depend on the federal government in the future," nor in the global marketplace, de Blasio, a Democrat, said at a news briefing. "We New Yorkers will take care of ourselves."  According to various sources, New York City actually received more backup than was needed.  Perhaps the mayor missed the memo about the USNS Comfort, the army's MASH style temporary hospital, and Samaritan's Purse.  Quotes like this one in the Navy Times don't really fare well with those of us who have seen how much effort and equipment has been poured into New York City.

Now, back to Governor Cuomo.  Since the mayor seems oblivious, I'll just offer this information again.  New York did not bring the Navy Hospital Ship, USNS Comfort to New York City.  The Navy is following orders of the Commander in Chief who is part of the Federal Government.  The "US" in USNS stands for United States!  The Army was also involved in building one of the temporary hospitals and Samaritan's Purse had a 68 bed tent hospital to care for patients with coronavirus.

As of April 17, Samaritan's Purse is still there assisting, specifically caring for those with coronavirus, while the USNS Comfort was there to provide care for needs of patients who needed care and did not have caronavirus.  The USNS Comfort was to keep surgery and accident patients safe from the virus.

Out of your own mouth, Governor Cuomo, the Navy Ship is not needed.
'Cuomo said after meeting with President Donald Trump that the USNS Comfort was helpful, but could now be sent elsewhere after being docked for weeks off of Manhattan.  At an evening press conference, Cuomo said having the ship had been worthwhile, even as the need for it didn’t reach the levels that had been projected.
“I believe Comfort not only brought comfort but also saved lives,” Cuomo said.'

President Trump ordered General Motors to start making ventilators, in March.  By April 7, NPR reported underuse of the overflow hospitals, yet you have had a voice to the nation, daily.  It just appears that you are using this situation for political posturing.  Perhaps I'm wrong, but we all can see that Joe B. doesn't really seem to be doing well with cognition or communication.  So, are you positioning yourself for November 2020?
